Smile Haven is a charity organization in Uganda, Africa that transforms lives of the orphans, abandoned and volunerable children in one of the most poor communities in Uganda called Nakaseke which was mostly affected by war. We do this through providing education, shelther, food, health care, clothing on top of other needs.
We also give hope to young girls and teenagers by providing adult education and skills training. Most women in the community have also been helped by smile haven by providing technical and vocational skills training that has helped them acquire skills like tailoring, hair dressing that has helped them be able to provode for their families and earn a living. We restore confidence and hope as well as extend the love of Christ to the entire community through preaching the gospel, teaching the word of God and outreaches where we give out food and home supplies to needy people hence extending the love of christ.
We conduct sessions where volunteers speak to the children, motivate them and mentor them to come to their full potential.
